Who you're hiring

The father's craft, run by the next generation.

Rising is a family-run crew that grew up on Arizona job sites. We took three decades of stucco and plastering know-how and built a shop that treats every exterior like it carries the family name, because it does. You get one team for lath, stucco, stone veneer, and siding, and one person who answers the phone.

How a wall is built

The three-coat build, done by the book

Good stucco is layers, in order, with nothing skipped. Here is exactly what goes on your wall and why each coat matters.

Coat 01 · Lath & Waterproofing
  1. Coat 01

    Lath & Waterproofing

We waterproof the structure, add one-inch foam insulation, and secure galvanized wire mesh with weep screeds and flashing. Every stucco job lives or dies on this layer.

  2. Coat 02

    Brown Coat

A thick cement base goes on, then we straightedge it dead level. This is where the ruler work happens and where flat, true walls are made.

  3. Coat 03

    Finish Coat

The final texture goes on, traditional or synthetic, in the color and finish you chose. Add-ons like mesh embeds and diamond-mesh corners lock in against cracking.

  4. Final

    Cleanup & Walkthrough

We strip the scaffolding, clear every bag and offcut, and walk the whole exterior with you. The job is not done until the site is clean and the finish is right.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The questions builders and homeowners ask us most. If yours isn't here, call and we'll walk you through it.

Traditional stucco is a three-coat cement system that is hard, strong, and time-tested. Synthetic stucco (EIFS) is a lighter, pre-colored system that flexes more, so it resists cracking and adds insulation. Traditional costs less up front; synthetic runs a bit more but holds up well in heat. We help you pick the right one for your build and budget.
